Warrior Code

1. Defend your Clan, even with your life. You may have friendships with cats from other Clans, but your loyalty must remain to your Clan. As one day you may meet them in battle.

2. Do not hunt or trespass on another Clan's territory.

3. Elders, Queens, and kits must be fed before apprentices and warriors. Unless they have permission, apprentices may not eat until they have hunted to feed the elders. If any warrior or apprentice is sick or injured, they may eat while the elders, queens, and kits are eating.

4. Prey is killed only to be eaten. Give thanks to Starclan for its life.

5. A kit must be at least six moons old to become an apprentice.

6. Newly appointed warriors will keep a silent vigil for one night after receiving their warrior name.

7. A cat cannot be made deputy without having mentored at least one apprentice.

8. The deputy will become Clan leader when the leader dies or retires.

9. After the death or retirement of the leader the new deputy must be chosen before moonhigh.

10. A Gathering of all four Clans is held at the full moon during a truce that lasts for the night. There shall be no fighting among Clans at this time.

11. Boundaries must be checked andmarked daily. Challenge all trespassing cats.

12. No warrior can neglect a kit in pain or danger, even if the kit is from a different Clan.

13. The word of the Clan leader is the warrior code.

14. An honorable warrior does not need to kill other cats to win his/her battles, unless they are outside the warrior code or it is necessary for self-defense.

15. A warrior rejects the soft life of a kittypet.

Cruise Ship Party!

Hey jammers! So, as you all know the new party is the Cruise Ship Party. Just another way AJHQ is humanizing Animal Jam. Soon Jamaa will be nothing more than an amusement park. If not already, please read my post about the most recent update.

First the shops and items to be found. The obvious store is on the top deck, simply click on the table with the umbrella.

The items they have for sale at the moment...

There is a slushie machine on the counter below that, perfect for a cool, refreshing drink on your tropical cruise.

Below the smoothie is a cash register...

 ...selling a slushie machine for your very own den!

AJHQ even sent out a message about the bountiful (and tropical) new items to be found in Jamaa and the Cruise Party.

The party is fairly small. In the front of the ship you can walk out above the water to see the dolphins in the waves.

There is a slide to the pool nearby, and if you click the wolf cloud up there you get your own little wolf puff.

To the left of that is the bunny cloud...

And to the left of that is the sun...

The name of the boat caught me...

Mola means "rest" in Turkish and the Mola Mola is a type of fish known also as the Sun Fish but what does AJS stand for? At the back end of the boat you can find the company name, Jamaa Liners.

And at the top of the boat (you can climb all the way up) you can find a phantom cloud. Click it for a phantom puff!

Time of the Horse Derpy

Hey jammers! No giraffe this update, but lots of other fun stuff to do. Now, the new items! The only one at the moment is the Snake Mat in Claws N' Paws.

A major part of this update is the Horse Derby, a fun racing game for members and nonmembers! horse...

...to go to the game at the base of Jamaa Township!

Here is the icon and rules (Pro will come later). Nonmembers get random patterns, colors, items, ect. to play.

In the game you time your jumps correctly so you don't get stuck in mud, puddles, grass or bushes...

Strategically eating booster carrots...

And hopefully you'll come out on top!

With a win you get a first place ribbon for a while.

Giraffes will be arriving in the next update.

There is also a new contest, this time for designing the most creative and fun underwater den item. Who's entering?

There is a new party, the Cruise Ship Party!

I won't be able to post about the first one, so be sure to comment about what it's like and what items are for sale! There is also the National Geographic GeoBee, so Trivia is double gems (and Double Up).

Meanwhile, AJHQ has added "Rare" tags to items released in the Leap Year Party and on Mondays. This is slightly "tacky," as I would put it, but it will prevent Monday scamming episodes.
